JULY 2021 COMDTINSTM5810.1H Military Justice Manual prescribes Secretarial and Judge Advocate General of the Coast Guard policies, regulations, and procedures applicable to the administration of military justice in the Coast Guard pursuant to, and in support of, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. 801 946a (as amended), and the Manual for Courts-Martial (MCM), United States (2019). This revision to the Military Justice Manual accounts for substantial statutory changes required by the National Defense Authorization Act of 2020, as well as various programmatic changes. This Manual includes a new chapter outlining requirements regarding uniform standards of data collection and public access to court-martial dockets, filings, and records pursuant to Art. 140a, UCMJ. Additional major changes include revisions to post-trial processing and review.
