The proposed publication is the first systematic study of the history of relations between the two prominent figures of Russian culture - V. A. Zhukovskogo and I. V. Kireevskogo. The relationship between the V. A. Zhukovskim and IV Kireevsky regarded as personal, dialogical, in all their existential fullness that makes the subject of the research attention not only to meet, chat and literary connections V. A. Zhukovskogo and IV Kireevskii but also the relationship of their religious ways. The set thus the theme of the relationship V. A. Zhukovskogo and I. V. Kireevskogo involves a more general problem - the problem of religious quest of Russian romanticism and introduces the story in a historical and literary context. Based on a variety of sources (poetry, fiction and philosophical prose, epistolary and diary) explores the relationship of the two writers of such religious and philosophical traditions as the Orthodox spiritual tradition, Freemasonry, Jena romanticism, German idealism.
