The Centre for Baltic and Scandinavian Archeology (ZBSA) in Schleswig, northern Germany, presents its second falconry book, co-edited by the New York University Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The publication, which is written in English, addresses falconers and scientists worldwide. The two volumes contained in a slipcase have c. 1000 pages. With its roughly 1000 illustrations, the publication is the ultimate picture book about falconry history and related motives and is, so far, unique. Das Zentrum fr Baltische und Skandinavische Archologie (ZBSA) in Schleswig legt zusammen mit der New York University Abu Dhabi in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten seinen zweiten Falknerei-Band vor. Das Buch in englischer Sprache richtet sich an Falkner und Falknerinnen, Wissenschaftler und Wissenschaftlerinnen weltweit. Die zwei Teilbnde in einem Schuber umfassen zusammen rund 1000 Seiten. Mit beinahe 1000 Abbildungen handelt es sich um den ultimativen Bildband zur Falknereigeschichte und zu verwandten Motiven. Das hat es in dieser Form noch nicht gegeben. Eine kurze Zusammenfassung in deutscher Sprache wird zeitgleich mit Erscheinen des Buchs auf der Webseite des Deutschen Falkenordens verffentlicht.
