Jerusalem with Solomon & Einstein is the second book of the Myopic Me! series. Coined in 2015, the advent of the Selfie Stick in the top ten list of inventions, elevated the Self while competing inventions offered fusion energy for Third World countries and healing for Ebola. Myopic Me! addresses this ancient and empty paradigm of Self, exposing the exhibitionist’s commitment to the meaningless life in the age of social media alienation. Myopic Me! is empowered through cultural affirmation and the prerogatives of the mob. The Continuum of Narcissism is the discordant chord, while the despair of Narcissus continues to increase. In Jerusalem I encounter two famous men who have pursued the ostensible benefits of this meaningless life. Einstein seeks a single equation explaining existence and the universe. For Albert, the First Cause is God’s thoughts in the beginning, revealing a one-inch equation to resolve the Quantum Chaos. Solomon seeks the true Abishag to warm his empty life. Each finds hope in the utter darkness beyond the City walls, where the King reconciles all things. Combining history, science, and fiction, Albert’s Hypersurface of the Present provides the platform in ancient Jerusalem where open air Coffeehouses provide WiFi access. Proclaiming the Good News in a world exhausted by Fake News, the author’s second book is Myopic Me! Jerusalem with Solomon & Einstein. The author’s third book has the working title of Myopic Me! Made in the Bipolar Image of God. Educated through three degrees and forty years in global manufacturing in quality management, John grew up in a household where his father and mother taught literature and his grandfather taught physics.
