M's. forces, P'rayah Surasaanah should be the Yokrabat, the Governor of Petchaburee should be the Kiekkai, P'rayah Seeraht daacho should command" the advance, and the govern r of Rahcuaburee the rear forces. The armies were composed of 16,008 ablo bodied men, 300 elephants, fully furnished with all the necessary implements ol war, tor land forces. The naval force was under the command of P'rayah Rahchabangsan, and consisted of 100 vessels, and 5000 rowers. The land and naval forces were to act in concert in attacking and capturing the province Nakaun Seetamaraht. When the propitious day arrived P'rayah Surasongkrahm, P'rayah Rahchabangsai and theother Commanders and officers of the land and naval forces paid their respects to H. M. and took their leave, ami commenced their journey for the attack and capture of the rebellious province. Both forces met at? Chaiyahburee. The Commander in chief of the land forces demanded of the governors of Chump'aun and Chaiyah their forces, and thus augmented the army. These were to proceed with the naval forces. The forces left Chaiyah simultaneously. The land forces reached the boundary line of Chaiyah where it joined to Nakaun Seetauiaraht, where Nai Sangk, the Yomaraht, had located himself. At night he was surrounded. Nai Sangk. the Yomaraht, was surprised, and had not made preparations for strennous resistance, and though his brave warriors were not in readiness, he was compelled to aeceptthe alternative of fighting as best he could with his unprepared forces. He was brave and skilful, a id with his limited and ill-prepared forces ho made attempts to break the siege ami effect an escape. He ...
