Citizenship and Sustainability in Organizations: Exploring and Spanning the Boundaries is the first book in the series of the same name and takes new conceptual thinking from some of the leading contributors published in the Journal of Corporate Citizenship on the topics of personal responsibility, citizenship, influencing and leading change for sustainability and personal benefit, and the sustainability of organizations. All the chapter authors are leading thinkers, who are pushing the boundaries of conventional thinking about corporate citizenship and sustainability to generate new models and practices. The book’s core message is that the environment within which organizations and individuals act is undergoing significant change and disruption. Existing social responsibility, citizenship and sustainability models and frameworks need to be adapted, abandoned or transformed.
