English summary: The issue of migration is a classic cross-sectional issue that is researched in a wide variety of disciplines. In the process, interdisciplinary exchange is usually neglected. Thanks to its regular documentation of both the topics and findings provided by Austrian research on migration and integration, the "Jahrbuch fur Migrations- und Integrationsforschung" (yearbook for migration and integration research) provides a remedy. The papers in this second volume cover classical issues such as integration and community along with current issues concerning political asylum and irregularity. There are also contributions on the areas of language and theology. The authors address theoretical and methodological issues, but also the issue of the practical application of their findings. The yearbook is mainly aimed at the German-speaking research community, but beyond that, also at a wider audience that takes an interest in new perspectives on migration-related issues. German description: Migration ist eine klassische Querschnittsmaterie, die in den unterschiedlichsten Disziplinen erforscht wird. Der interdisziplinare Austausch wird dabei meist vernachlassigt. Durch die regelmassige Dokumentation von Forschungsfragen und Ergebnissen der osterreichischen Migrations- und Integrationsforschung schafft das Jahrbuch fur Migrations- und Integrationsforschung hier Abhilfe. Die Beitrage des zweiten Bandes befassen sich ebenso mit klassischen Themen wie Integration und Nachbarschaft wie mit aktuellen Aspekten von Asyl und Irregularitat. Den Bereichen Sprache und Theologie sind weitere Beitrage gewidmet. Die AutorInnen behandeln theoretische und methodologische Fragestellungen, aber auch die Umsetzung von Forschungserkenntnissen in die Praxis. Das Jahrbuch richtet sich insbesondere an die deutschsprachige Forschungsgemeinschaft, daruber hinaus aber auch an ein breiteres Publikum, das an neuen Zugangen zu migrationsbezogenen Fragen interessiert ist.
