During course of history flowers have played immense role in our life. Early man also recognized the aesthetic role of flowers; in fact, some ancient cultures believed that they could appease the spirits of their ancestors by decorating their tombs with a particular type of flower. present study is based on primary metabolites like carbohydrate and protein in Chrysanthemum coronarium L and Gaillardia pulchella Foug. during study uncut flower was selected as a plant material. different stages were identified till the senescence stage.
