In 2005 observed 350 years from the start of Jewish emigration to North America. This remarkable date was the occasion for a comprehensive analysis and distribution of this historic event. It consisted mainly of those who survived the fire of the Second World War, went through the hell of concentration camps and ghettos. The third wave of emigration began in the second half of the 70s and dimensions continued until the early 80s of 20th century. The fourth wave are the biggest exodus of Jews from the Soviet Union, took place in 1988-1993. This was made possible during the "Perestroika" when was allowed to leave the country. The following year’s emigration did not yet receive designations.
