(TITLELESS): a n o t e b o o k this is just a notebook. scratchings and musings and ramblings and thinkings and sometimes wordings stolen from other people that might be more memorable than mine. someone wanted a tangible copy to hold and read. here it is. now you can curl up with me, spill your favorite drink on me, push your own thoughts on me, or leave me around present but neglected – whatever you want. you don't buy this book because you care what's inside -- you buy this book because you care about who is inside. or not. maybe you do care about what's inside. either way... it's not complicated. it's a n o t e b o o k It is easy enough to believe that this is a notebook – conspicuously spelled with spaces in between the letters as if hinting there may be something missing or something one is not seeing in the first place. However, perhaps it is not what it says: a simple n o t e b o o k. If you look closely enough, you might conclude that it’s something deconstructed, broken into bite sized entries that seem time sensitive and go nowhere, like social media. And true to the (mis)uses of social media, you may also see the hidden messages sent to some unknown but specific reader – one which may or may not ever see the words – a request for attention, an attempt to say something that can not be said directly, or perhaps something that cannot be said at all.
