"Musings" by Dorothy H. Killackey
Synopis of book “Musings” “Musings” is a compilation of short essays by a senior citizen in her eighties, a former elementary teacher and a mother. She is remembering past experiences. She is upbeat in laughing at herself and the sometimes foolish choices she made. Thinking of today’s world, she muses over what has transpired and how problems are now being handled, philosophizing about the current culture. Some of the stories are about certain memorable children she has known. Some stories tie in her own experiences with current thinking. And there are stories criticizing our culture’s driving forces that are leading us in new directions. The stories have been written to make the reader pause and “muse” with the author.
