Are we destined to win the next war? At the utmost levels of the U.S. Department of Defense, permeating throughout the world, an organization (not-so-secret-society) exists with tenets of power, greed, deceit, fear, and incompetence. This is not a work of fiction or an excerpt from a spy novel; this organization is made up of thousands of men and women, spanning across all branches and levels of the military and government. This book is not about strategies and tactics that will lose the next war, but rather the behaviors of senior military (and political) leaders who knowingly and intentionally create organizations and environments of power, greed, dysfunction, discrimination, fear, and suboptimal success (failure) for the escalation of personal gain and power. Men with these values have had a tremendous hold on this country since its beginnings and though they still have a firm grasp; however, it is slowly loosening but it has taken a couple hundred years. Will Americans ever shift from tolerance to action to stop these abhorrent leaders and start to embrace the values we say we have?
